Don’t forget the ALT+[ and ALT+] shortcuts for quickly setting the work area. Plus you can ALT-drag the work area bar, without having to click on the three small vertical bars in the middle.

Right click on your Sequence tab and choose ‘Work Area Bar’ to switch it back on.

It was turned off by default in the first version of CC, mostly because many editors found it quicker to set in/out points and create preview files in that range.

But you can still use the Work Area Bar in the same way as you’ve been used to, by switching it on.
