    This is the error:

    ‘AN ACCESS_VIOLATION exception occured. For more info see the error log: c:\programfiles…..’

    It appears to crash like this randomly; sometimes when I’m trying to access footage from another bin in another project or when I simply try and put a dissolve or resize on a clip.

    I have to restart Avid then I find my sequnces unrendered and sometimes large chunks of media offline…

    Not enirely sure what happened. The opacity is at 50%. Everything seems in working order but the clip might just have been corrupted. I reimported the clip from the Capture Scratch folder and it works fine.
