    Thanks for the reply.
Do you have any idea why the SDI out signal and the P2 card are so different?

    Thanks for the reply.
I made a white balance with the iris on auto from a white card in front of his face, with a result of 2.6
But through the control monitor, it was way too bright. I closed it to 5.6, and it looked much better.
But like I said above, what I could see in my control monitor and what I have in the computer are 2 different things, unfortunately. The control monitor was also recently calibrated.

    Simon.

June 17, 2015 at 2:03 pm in reply to: CC 2015 Previews Not Real Time

    Thx for the reply.
I just want to see a simple “RAM Preview”. Before, you pushed the 0 on the numbers keyboard, it renders frames into the ram cache, then when its finished it plays back in real time.
Now, it loads the frames, the line on the comp is green, but it wont play back in real time, only sometimes 4, 10, maybe 15 frames per second. Audio previews are ok. Just video doesnt work.
I understand AE is not “real-time”, I have been using it commercially for many years. But RAM Previews should be…
Adobe CC has 50 Gigs of RAM allocated, and nothing else is open. OPEN GL and CUDA are recognised by the software.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the responses gentlemen.
I have worked the problem down to being project specific. As far as I can tell, AE does not play nicely with Avid DV codecs.

    Hi Todd,
OS is Win 7 pro, Adobe CC 2014.1 (I just updated yesterday). I seem to remember I had this same problem a few years ago. Could it have something to do with the .m2v format?

    thx

“Sabotage” is the coolest and most entertaining funny music video of all time!
Good on them for standing up for a good principal.

And here is Vice’s answer: https://www.vice.com/pages/response
I like that news show on HBO. But the all-too-familiar situation where the workers down in the trenches actually making the goods are exploited for peanuts, while the top tier are cleaning up really pisses me off.
