The frame rate is 50i… so 25fps… it’s not progressive… does that make a difference? Should I transcode it to 60i or change it to 23.98 still?

Any idea on how to uninstall photoshop and reinstall from a version that I downloaded from directly from Adobe? I have tried to uninstall using the Adobe uninstaller but it won’t open. The problem I’m having with photoshop includes the following bug screen when opening.
An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred. Photoshop will now exit.

The raid isn’t even close to full… and if I run a disk test on it, it is able to write and read over 220MB/s which is plenty plenty fast I think.
I have changed the mojo and deck over to my second Avid Xpress pro and don’t have any problems now… but today I was getting crazy error messages in my avid about
PMDIO_OutputMode:Abort-failed to stop driver-FT Status code_FT_Driver Error-MFIvsrTransmitBufferManager-
not sure what that’s all about?

so is there any advantage to working in 24pA (besides working in a 23.98 timeline) rather than 24p over 60i?

I’ve had a Kona card for 3 years now…
My opinion is go AJA. I have 2 Kona LHe cards and they are great! Their tech support is wonderful… I had a card have some problems a month ago, and they shipped me a new card up to canada and had it here within 24hrs. My business associate who has blackmagic has had nothing but problems with his card. I know often it’s the luck of the draw, and I’m sure blackmagic has a good system, but you can’t beat a company that responds to email questions within 20 minutes when you have a problem, and ships you what you need as fast as possible…
Nothing but good things to say about AJA!
But that’s just me!

thanks for the advice… it seems to work just fine… no more warning… only thing is the ref light on the front of the mojo doesn’t light up… but that shouldn’t be a problem should it?

how do I need to have the blackburst generator hooked up?
I tried taking black out of the generator into the deck… that just confuses the avid, and it doesn’t see the video…
Then I tried hooking up the generator to sync cable (from avid’s breakout cables) attached to the mojo.
should I be running a loop thru?
