April 13, 2015 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Speed graph – I don’t understant why my curve go under “0”.I made by myself a camera rig today for the x, y z position and for the rotation x y z. It work perfectly but i definitly don’t know how he does the slider for the speed position 🙁 I don’t know what expression to pick and what expression on what null object.

You don’t know why i can’t do this tricks with the curve?

January 19, 2015 at 11:50 pm in reply to: AE CS6 11.0.1 CUDA BENCHMARK PROJECT – test your graphics cards!OK i’ll buy my new tower tommorow and you convince me to buy the matrix 780 ti.
In regard of what you said bellow, i have great cpu (i7 5820k), an SSD 500g (and 2g hdd for the storage) and 16g (fit to 32 asap). I think it’s enough for 2D/3D stuff (i’ll also made some stuff on cinema 4d but most of the time on AE).
I’ve understand everything of what you said now. Sorry if i didn’t understand before, i’m belgian, i speak and read a little english but not everything.
Thank’s for your precious help 🙂

January 19, 2015 at 10:08 pm in reply to: AE CS6 11.0.1 CUDA BENCHMARK PROJECT – test your graphics cards!ok the asus matrix 780ti is the good choice for me if i follow you … but … In AE we aren’t doing only things with ray tracer. Cuda it’s for a little part of the AE use. Cuda are no effect on 90% things we made on AE. In this regard it’s not preferable to buy the ASUS 780 6G?
Yourself said that the 780 6g it’s the only card on 700 series that you consider. (and the 780 ti of course)
I really hesitate between the asus matrix 780 ti and de asus 780 6g. I don’t know what is the good choice ^^

January 19, 2015 at 1:56 pm in reply to: AE CS6 11.0.1 CUDA BENCHMARK PROJECT – test your graphics cards! The Asus 780 6g seems to be the best compromise in regard on cuda core and clock no?
The problem with the 760 is that it have 1152 cuda, so it’s should be less quicker than the 780.
Also, i read on review that the 780 made less noise with 2D work.

Finally it’s not the asus matrix platinum but the “asus matrix” only that he propose :
So i have now to make a choice, for the same price i can have that 3 graphic card.
The first is :
ASUS GTX 780 TI MATRIX 3G
with 2880 cuda cores
and
GPU Boost Clock : 928 MHz
GPU Base Clock : 876 MHzor
EVGA GTX 760 4G FTW CX Cooler
with 1152 cuda cores
and
1085 MHz Base Clock
1150 MHz Boost Clock
or
GeForce GTX 780 6 Go
with 2304 cuda cores
and
889 base clock
941 MHz boost clock
I’ll have an SSD 500g and a I7 5820k(3,3 ghz).
So it is better to take the MATRIX 780ti, the asus strix 780 6g or the EVGA 760 4g who have better clock but less cuda core?

January 18, 2015 at 5:04 pm in reply to: AE CS6 11.0.1 CUDA BENCHMARK PROJECT – test your graphics cards! One final question before that i buy my new tower.
The computer scientist can only do an lower price on the ASUS ROG MATRIX GTX780 TI PLATINUM. In your opinion this card is properly supported like the others 780ti ?
Since yesterday i am searching some 780ti matrix opinion about using after effects, but i can’t found.
Here is some benchmark test and for the ray tracing https://www.hardwareluxx.com/index.php/reviews/hardware/vgacards/30499-test-asus-rog-matrix-radeon-r9-290x-and-geforce-gtx-780-ti.html?start=9 , the Matrix is the better card but i would love seeing an export with after effects ^^
Thanks.

To be honest, i’ll buy a new tower in 2 or 3 day’s. I was a mac user since 6 years and now i want a PC because mac it’s not good for motion design at the price i want. (it’s for motion design stuff, AE and C4D)
I’ll buy a tower for 2000€ (2300$) and the only final question is : Which is the card i have to buy for After Effects? I can put 400€ (460$) GPU. In my investigation, 2 GPU sounds good for people i asked: GTX 770 or GTX 970.
I’m a newbie in PC so, in my budget, wich GPU can i buy with more CUDA core?
It’s more better to take this one https://www.ldlc.be/fiche/PB00148420.html in place of GTX 970?
Thank you 🙂
