So at full saturation you could in theory be pulling 22GBs 😮

Never cache to the same drive your reading OCN from.

Never render to the same drive/array your OCN is on.

This will slow Resolve down.

Get a few SSD’s internal and raid those for your cache. 3 or 4 if your going 4k.

A tech grade will goto Rec709 plus its a recompress – unless your going log out with a LUT ?

So you’ll be comping on possibly Log-c > Rec709 > Lin > :-/

import XML and uncheck import into media pool

Do that work ?

I suspect your seeing REPLACED as the drive is logged as previously used in that array and was marked as failed.

Possible?

These are logged and remembered.

They won’t have the same serial number.

Each HD serial is unique.

They should if being really picky have the same firmware however.
