I realize this is an old post but putting this up for any readers that stumble here with the same issue.

Seems this is caused by CPU performance (or lack of it) I noted that my CPU usage for both cores (Task Manager > Performance) jumps to about 65% whenever i make a small change to the Comp. (adding effects etc). It takes easily about 20-25 secs to render. I’m using an AMD X2 250 dual core, with 4GB ddr3 RAM.

Todd Kopriva is a robot, and only replies back with the same text he’s originally posted. He doesnt seem to have the ability to respond to new queries being asked within the same thread, he will continue to respond with the same text. 1 Dimensional, yes. Helpful, not really.

I did chance upon this page trying to do exactly that, creating a story with a bunch of photos. Thanks for posting the tip about Siren, I am unable to find it though.. would you have a link for download?
