Ok Guys, I think i found the problem…from what ive learned from other Adobe products that has had this error is that it has more times than not been a problem with “linking” two adobe products together and when the application tries to recall a file from another product it will read error if that product has a corrupt file.
for instance I was recalling a menu I made in Photoshop, and i didnt know that some of the layers had “caution” signs on them which made the file corrupt so when I was recalling the file from Encore it read “general error” and then “internal error”
I just deleted the layers and now everything is fine.:o)
and to think i was about to pay 175 to adobe

September 26, 2006 at 8:38 pm in reply to: From Adobe Premiere 2.0 to YouTube (What are the best settings for this?)I tried those settings among other settings and all of my web output comes out subpar.
Check out this video/trailer i created for my upcoming dvd video magazine and you can see how “rough” it looks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88R689dMaYc
also check out this footage of a person rapping in good light, also very “rough”

I used every type of setting you can think of and most of them just makes the files bigger but not “cleaner”

Once Again I should of read here before I went on to do other things! ARRRGGH i just paid Geek Squad $70 to install windows again and get rid of that message! I cant believe it! I knew those GEEKS was giving the me the run around! But its all ok! Now I have another question. Once again if you guys can refer to me another board/forum where this question would be best suited, than please let me know.
1.) I am having GeekSquad install 4 Gigs of Ram, a firewire card, a FX540 video card, a seagate 300 gig hardrive. now they told me that I needed to upgrade my power supply from a 375W to a 430W so that it will have enough power to run everything..was this neccessary? or did they get me to spend more money to help their BestBuy Commissions?
2.) is everything that I am getting installed enough for Premiere Pro 2.0?

Wow. Mr. Sareen you have been a great help to me so far, I just wished I checked for your response BEFORE I tried to do a Clean Install by myself :o(. 1st. After I already installed Windows XP Pro SP2 as an upgrade from XP Home SP2, i then tried to do a clean install, convinced that i was going to need a clean install for PP2.0 to work properly (should of checked here first!)
In the process of trying to do that, an error returned saying that it could not find my hard drive, and uninstall or reinstall any new hard drive drivers (or something similiar) so i just hit F3 to restart my computer. and now after I restarted it everytime I turn on my PC it gives me two options from a “DOS-Like” Screen: “Windows XP” or “Windows XP Set Up” and if I dont choose one in 5 seconds it automatically goes to “Windows XP Set Up” and (from my guess) tries to “Install” Windows Xp again…and then it goes through its “motions” just to arrive BACK at that screen that displays the “Error” that it can not find my hard drive.
Now if I select “Windows XP” from the “DOS-Like” Screen my PC loads up as normal and everything seems to function properly. My question is now this. 1.) What part of this CreativeCow/Calf network do I place this follow up question OR 2.) What Website or Forum would this question be best suited for
P.S.
You guys should start a “Take Me To Lunch” fund. If a person feel as though that you were extremely helpful in answering a question and the feel compelled to show you their appreciation than why not send you $5.00 (PayPal) or something so that you could get a small lunch on them. it DONT have to be $5.00 and they DONT have to do it if they dont want to, but i think it would be a nice getsture just to show you guys that we appreciate everything that you guys do. :0)C.E.O of Urban DVD Magazine “PhillyMixTape”

Thanks Guys. This forum is Awesome! Ok it seems like both of you guys are recommending that I get Premiere Pro 2.0. I was just worried that the trainings wouldnt be relevant. I will be using the Total Training series as my platform for learning, that….and Steven Gotz training. And I also wouldnt be using HDV.
Side question:
how can you see High Def Video on a regular DVD? I thought the whole reason the industry is arguing over “Blu-Ray” vs “HD-DVD”? and since these formats aren’t widely known or used yet does it make sense to edit in High Def? Even if a person has a high def Tv and not a high def dvd player, they still wont see a big difference will they? and can you even burn on to “Blu-Ray” or “HD-DVD” yet?
