Right you are! How odd not to include basic file info. I must have used this in Discreet Edit. To many applications, to small a memory.

The down converter was working in 2, but the audio wasn’t passing through. Is it not working at all now?

What about exporting a still into photoshop to resize it and clean it up as needed. You can tell on a scope if the values have changed in the process.

I suspect the decklink and raid card are fighting for the same irq or resources. The Decklink pro sd is just a 32bit/66mhz card isn’t it? Try moving it to a 32 bit pci slot and see if that solves it.

I’ve quickly tried 5.5 with Premiere 2.0 NTSC and found two important fixes…
1) 1394 capture works.
2) Source viewer plays through the decklink card in DV jobs. -

The other thing worth checking is terminations. Does your monitor auto terminate or do you have to turn them on, or do you have to put 75 ohm external terminators on bnc connectors? Do other component signals look OK through the monitor?

You’re right. It would cancel out in B-y r-y. Sorry. I ran into this long ago with a camera that during service got switched from yuv to rgb, then rgb was recorded into a betacam. We had to stip setup off of G to get the colour balance right through a rgb to yuv converter to do a dub. Great fun.
I know there are also MII (panasonic) specs for yuv that are different from Betacam if there is any chance your monitor could be set for those.
