I am also confused about the Grayed out boxes for Compressor and Apple Qmaster when I try to reinstall Final Cut Studio.

My hard drive crashed, and although I was able to transfer most of the data to my new hard drive, FCS wouldn’t open. I uninstalled it with Digital Rebellion’s cool uninstaller.

It seemed to work great, but when I try to reinstall, I get the grayed out boxes on those two components. I’m not sure about answer to this problem. Am I to understand that they will install anyway? The installer is telling me that they won’t.
