I’m also (and this may be off-topic) seeing this error come up when it comes to burning the project to Blu-ray:
I have to say that the audio’s original Bit rate is at 448kbps – I just changed it to 640 to see if that would make a difference and forgot to change it back to 448 before I took my screenshot
So then what should I do in Sony Vegas Pro 13 to make my AC-3 audio not have to be recompressed for when burning to Blu-ray?

Since I’m only going half on it ($50 plus some change for shipping), this may be up my alley.
Shot in the dark question: I’ll assume once I get this installed with the proper drivers and everything, that this burner will work for DVD Architect Pro 6.0?

Actually, for rendering my project out to either MPEG2 or AVC for Blu-ray purposes, there is no way for me to click on the tab in the audio setting to include the audio. Does this mean that for every Blu-ray creation, either by my hands or by someone else’s, there will always have to be the separate audio and video track (which I know is the premiere choice but I was still curious nonetheless)?

Honestly, and pardon my ignorance, I’m still not sure what progressive scan is or what it does… however, in Sony Vegas Pro 13 (and correct me if I’m on the wrong subject here), I had my deinterlace method set to “None”, and my Field Order set to “None (progressive scan)”. Guess I kinda answered my own question? Is there an advantage or disadvantage to my settings for my project or any real notice that will stand out to an audience member that looks unnatural? I’ve always used these settings and never noticed any weird blurs or anything like that, so maybe I’m fine?

Fair enough. Maybe it was the TV I played the disc in, because when I later played my DVD in a PS4 on a LG HDTV, it looked like what I originally shot, and I was pleased.

Now I’m noticing another issue. Here’s a screencap:
I don’t want to recompress my project. I used the DVD Architect render in Sony Vegas Pro 13 to make my MPEG2 – why does the program need to recompress my video?

John, I went ahead and made my DVD per your suggestions. Thank you again, and as always. I now have some questions regarding optimizing my disc in DVD Architect Pro 6.0 right here.

John, similar to rendering out a DVD project with ckicking an audio tab and checking “Inclide Audio”, does such an option exist for when making a Blu-ray ready file so that I can have both video and audio combined together in one file?

I have John’s answer, which I appreciate. Two separate files to be authored professionally.
My next question then, what MPEG2 option would be best to render both the audio and video into one file for playback, instead of the already mentioned two separate files? I understand that this is a more simpler, not-as-optimal way of burning a project to DVD, but think of it as a Plan B. Thanks guys.
