Maybe the QNAP TVS-1282T3 is similar of what you are looking for. You can plug 4 systems with Thunderbolt and it acts as a 10GBE switch.

I rendered the MXF in premiere pro. The QT files were exported from Resolve. From a Tiff sequence.
But Premiere is only working with mxf.

You could try an external enclosure, with a raid card.

Remember that the speed of your system is as fast as the slowest component.
In your case that is the video card and the hdd.Build a RAID at least four drives, and preferable using a raid card, something that can get more than 250mb/s
The Quadro Card youre using is too slow for today standards, an Nvidia GTX 960 will give you much better performance than that card.
Other reasons to consider is the Xeon you’re using is 2008, it lacks a lot of instructions that the newer Core i7 have, maybe a 3RD or 4th gen intel processor will give you much better performance than 2 Xeons.

It’s not working… Tried many things, what is funny is that the clips work perfectly in Premiere CC 2014, but in the latest version, I can’t load them correctly.
And if I export in any other flavour than Dnx 444, there is a color shift.
