Thanks Walter. That sounds like a good solution, but I have a new problem: if I set the still frame duration in 3 my imported still is 2 frames, if I set it in 5 is 2 frames, if I set it in 8 is 6 frames, so: no the order I give to FCP never match with the resoult I get. Why is this happening and how can I solve it.

My project is a DVCPROHD 720p60 project, and I have tried everything: regular text tool, boris, photoshop, livetpe…nothing works.
Text size 30 to 45, placed over photographs.
