    Anyone,

    I tried capturing in Premiere 5.5 from HDCAM SR and DIGIBETA, but it only captures non-controllable without timecode. It also says the bit rate is too high when I capture with the SR. I tried doing what was recommended, but my playback still has audio dropouts.

    I am using Mac, Kona 3, 2 x 2.66 Quad Core Intel Processor, 16 GB of RAM

    Chris,

    You seem to be a techy Premiere Pro guy. We are a mastering facility, we have a bunch of FCP systems, and we want to be able get a Premiere Pro system to Digitize and Layoff to tape. Most of our workflow is HDCam SR. Can Premiere Pro do what Final Cut can do?
