Yep they got back to me.

Hope it comes out soon as I want to try it. I like the material rendering in the BCC6 filters.

Side note though. And maybe I am just being dumb right now…

I think this is in general a limitation of AE but is there a way to get multiple layers to act as a scene?

For instance if you have text in front of a spline and want to pan around it say from the front to the back and have both items with a 3D effect and have them render in the camera’s perspective of z order.

I figured the Z Space I-III might help but have not had a chance to play around with them.

    Thank You

I am a owner. I have licenses to half of Boris’ product catalog. Just ask Kevin D. in sales.

I found how to download the SwishPan filter but where is the Extrude EPS download for owners.

Also I have installed the unlock code for the BCC6.

Also just tried uninstall and reinstalling and even downloaded it again.

Still Feb 18th, no Extrude EPS, No SwishPan.

Do you have another installer for the AE plug-in I can download somewhere?

    I am on a MacBook Pro, 2.6GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, nvidia 8600m GT with 256MB VRAM.

    Mac OS 10.5.6
After Effects 9.0.1 (as part of Master Collection CS4)

No I did not uninstall. I did check the CS4 Media Core folder and the AE Plug-Ins and there is nothing new

Also the trial installer is dated Feb 28th, 2009

Just now downloaded the latest Mac version of the trial.

No SwishPan was installed and no Extrude EPS.

Is there another place to get the latest version that I am missing?

    Make that….

I have tried to paste the path from illustrator but still comes across as a compound path (as multiple masks in difference mode).

    Maybe I am missing a step or a plug-in.

I have a BCC Extruded Spline but no EPS. I think that is what you are talking about.

How do I open the EPS file with it?

OK then it should work eventually.

I just found out last week that BorisFX no longer supports Premiere Pro on the Mac.

They do seem to be having several issues and confirmed via email that some of the effects are not ready for CS4 yet.

    Art,

Are you using Premiere Pro on a Mac or PC?
