There’s a good review of the Firmteks on Barefeats. My only concern is that they’re pretty unattractive and, for less money, the Burlies come with LCD temp monitors on each drive tray.

The powerhouse AMD solution at the moment is the Tyan Thunder K8WE. It is a workstation board based on the nForce4 chipset and supports dual Socket 940 Opterons, including the soon to be released dual cores. It has two PCI-e slots for SLI, supports up to 16GB of Reg ECC RAM, has an integrated SATA RAID controller and an optional U320 SCSI RAID Controller. Tyan also has absolutely the best support in the business. Unfortunately, all of this comes at a price. The non-SCSI version of the K8WE is currently available for around $480. Also note that it is eATX form factor. I recommend the Lian Li PC-V1200 to go with it. This case is a work of art.
