This is what happens when you get to pick all three corners of the triangle.. talent, time and money.

I was actually disappointed with the lack of originality in the credits. Its beautiful design work but feels more derivative of previous Bonds, was hoping for more. Makes me wonder if their original ideas got stepped on by the studio.

April 30, 2008 at 5:25 am in reply to: Overlaying TC and Clip Name…

The footage was collected with several P2’s and much of it does not have any form of camera reports so there is no real organization to the clips beyond each clips embedded TC. I am providing the raw clips with TC burn and clip name burn so they can identify footage they want to use in the edit.. as the TC’s are all over the place.

I will check out the plug-in and see how it goes..

    Cheers,
    Scott.

Been researching Watchout for a project coming up.. interested in your “there is heaps of other cheaper and better tools out there” comment..

Before we perhaps choose the wrong solution I would like to research all options.

    Cheers.

September 30, 2005 at 4:31 pm in reply to: Dropped frames in FCP HD 4.5

I have had some similar issues as well.. I have a Dual 2.7 with 4GB RAM, FCP 5, and a 900GB 3 drive striped SATA RAID on a Sonnet SATA Controller. I get 280MB/s read and write in my Blackmagic Drive speed test yet still drop frames on single DV clips.. its a total pain in the ass.. I find restarting FCP helps for about 30 mins which leads be to think it a Software/OS issue. I have all my scratch and work files on the RAID.
