Hmmm, very interesting Mitch. That is EXACTLY what I’m doing – using my old LiveType from FCS2 with my new Final Cut Pro from FCS3!
So that’s it then – all LT titles will look bad in FC7?

I haven’t even begun learning Motion yet…can everything that used to be done in LT now be done in Motion? Just as easily? I find LT to be a very very simple program to use, but Motion looks a bit daunting.

Hi Tom. I’m brand new to both LT and FCP, so please bear w me.
LT Project Props: 720 x 486 / 29.97 Field Dom=none. Pixel aspect = .90 SMPTE Drop.

I’m not sure what you mean by “item properties” of the sequence, but the “sequence settings” are:
720×486 CCIR 601 NTSC 29.97
Render 10-bit material in hi

Is this the info you need? Remember, the LT titles don’t just look awful in Timeline, but in VIEWER as well. Thanks
