yeah ill have to grab that, are they both sorta the same thing or is each dvd about different thing to do with the ex1/ex1r? i was also reading some things about final cut pro 7 https://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/finalcutpro/broad-format-support.html
and it said that you can now use the log and transfer tool to import xdcam ex clips, are there any pros or cons doing it this way over the sony plugin?-Scott

thanks a bunch for the reply Ron, this will help a ton, dont have much time to learn the camera since ill be thrown into filming as soon as i get it so i need to know as much as possible before. Best wishes,
