Thanks for pointing me to your company and to the demo reel. I’m very impressed. I’ll be contacting you shortly to discuss possibilities.

I just went into each of the compositions’ settings and changed it to NTSC 29.97. I thought it might mess it up a bit, but it worked just fine.

I used the Itunes_browser project as a starting point for a 10 minutes piece. The slider worked great. I don’t know much about expressions, but was able to create many more layers, copying the expression and adjusting some of the parameters so the new layers moved in relation to the others.
By sliding the slider left or right, it controlled each layer. I replaced the solid in each layer with footage. I don’t know what else to tell you about the slider. I just dragged it and created keyframes. Eased the keyframes. Worked like any other keyframeable item, like position or scale.

I’ll make my project into an mp4 later today and post it. It turned out great.

Thank you. This is great. I guess I didn’t search the right terms.
    Again, thanks.

What about capturing using iMovie? I’ve never used it, but it uses DV, right?

We’re sending these games to South and Central America via satellite with 6 channels of audio. Then the cable companies that downlink the feed can choose 2 of the 3 languages to broadcast (one primary and another on SAP). So yes, I do need all 6 channels together.

    I appreciate everyone’s help.

I appreciate the help. I will probably use sATA drives, but I am trying to eliminate tape altogether. For the first few games, I’ll still record to DigiBeta, but hope to be confident enough stop recording to tape.
What I need to figure out is, how do I take an SDI video feed and 6 channels of analog audio, and feed it into Final Cut to record. My AJA Io has 4 inputs for analog audio. It will take 8 channels through the embedded SDI, but I have to figure out how to get the audio into the SDI. I could go mono, I guess, but am hoping to find some kind of box that will take all six channels (maybe 8 in the future).
