I’d love to find a solution to this original question too.
Sometimes you don’t want to delay precomps and just use a shape but a way to make the repeater delay it’s animation would be brilliant.I’m about to animate 3000 dots scaling up and wanted to use one dot with a couple of repeaters but have them scale up one after the other rather than all at the same time.
Does anyone have any ideas how to do that using a simple shape?

Hi,
I’m wondering if you can help me with something similar to this.
I’ve used LayerMonkey to create a sort of slideshow between comps and on my final comp that I’ve named “OUTPUT” I’d like to trigger a blur value of 25 when each of the LayerMonkey markers in my pre-comp appears.
So, in English it would say”
In the comp named “OUTPUT” on the layer called “MASTER v002” give the FAST BLUR effect a BLURINESS value of 25 when the the comp named “MASTER v002” on the layer called “LM Master Control” has a marker.
Can you help me to come up with a script I can try for that please?

Do you have any idea how I can make the lines of my texture more uniformed like in the example? I’m not getting very good results.

True, I think the must have either used an ultralight style font, or just created each letter using a single path. It’s very nice either way.

Makes sense now. I could get the lines texture to work properly, then were getting fat the farer away from the text they got but here’s my test 🙂

Does anybody know how to move the anchor point of a joint in newton?
I don’t want my anchor point centered I want it placed more near the top of the object?

What would I need to look at in order to say make the hairs sort of ‘explode’ out from the S shape and then float down to the ground more naturally?
Like when something bad happens to Tweety Bird and you get a puff of feathers that float down. That’s the only good example I can think of right now 🙂
