What Codec are you using? I’ve used the activity monitor to check my CPU usage and it increases when using more compressed codecs.

    Hi David,
Just like the DVCProHD codec, the Apple ProRez codec as well as the CineFormHD are not installed by Media 100. These 3rd party codecs must be installed in order to have support for them within Media 100. This codec is a processor intensive codec so make sure to pay close attention to the note on the Media 100 download page.

    Hi David,
I’m going to assume you are on 11.6.1? 11.6.2 should be released soon. Try that and see if you’re still having the same issues while you’re acquiring with your video output.

Having just got home from NAB, man I’m tired and I can’t speak, We were running specials on pretty much every product. Working off of one hours of airliner sleep, I can’t remember what that is. If you give Media 100 Sales a call they can give you the breakdown.

I spoke to a couple of the AE demo artist at NAB and asked them if they knew of anything major that would make our XML importer not work and he said he didn’t see why it would have changed. Make sure you’re running the project importer from 11.6. But we haven’t had a chance to run with the AE CS3 beta yet.

You’ll want to update to 11.5.1 you can download it here.

This patch is a full install of the application so perform the uninstall feature in the installer first before installing this version. Let me know if you have any further crashes after you update to 11.5.1.

    Hey Greg,
Sorry for not checking this earlier, we were getting ready for NAB. If you run the Unistall feature from the Media 100 install application it is a very non-distructive process. It will remove the application, items in that folder and some extensions. You do not need to worry about your program/bin/project/ or media files.
