Just may have answered my own question … originally, the grid I was trying to create with my four corner points was kind of oblique, not really a perfect rectangle. That’s because part of the object in the photo I’m trying to grid out extends outside the boundaries of the image. Once I placed my fourth and final corner point outside the visible space of the photo, I was golden. Perfect rectangle and my grid showed up!

Hey there, Dave. Thanks for taking the time. Believe me, I tried everything!! I even was comparing specs from an identical project completed a year ago. Never have I had this problem before. Anyhow, I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve imported everything into After Effects and am doing the job (effortlessly) over there. 🙂

Hi Jean Phillippe. Any luck creating your 3d montage? We’re about to embark on our first, so I was just wondering how yours came out …

I knew my Cow buddies would come through for me! Pat and David, we had very much the same progression it sounds like you did: A/B linear to the VideoCube to the Affinity (we skipped the whole Stratosphere thing). I agree, Pat, if only Accom had hung in there, the Affinity would continue to be a great system. The daily system freezes though are killing our productivity. Our workflow to get projects to DVD is so time-consuming. We really are looking forward to the new system. Thanks all for the confidence boost … and believe me, I’ll be checking in for help as we delve deeper.
