I find that CS5 doesnt work anything like CS4 did with regards to creating a custom length score matched to a video sequence in Premiere. I am pulling my hair out trying to get this to work as it did in CS4…if it has been changed to a different method I am damned if I know what that is! VERY frustrating and even more frustrating after 3 hours on hold with Adobe and being cut off and no call back!
Does anything know how this Score feature works in CS5? I have a very simple sequence in Premiere and simply wish to have SB create a score matched to the sequence length. -
1500A plays back DVCPRO 25 just fine through firewire connection.

Ummm…well thanks Jeremy…however I am using P2 Viewer, a Vista laptop and ultimately edited with PremierProCS4.
Therefore, that wont help me. -
Cheap? Ignorant? Backwards? Your words Dino…not mine. Nevertheless, thanks for the enlightening reply. However, when the company states quite clearly from the outset…that they are fine with P2 footage…and then change their mine after 5 shoots…I with I am well within my realm to be concerned.
Furthermore, since you’re no privy to my financial situation and the market in my area…I will forgive your assumptions.

Many thanks to all of you who replied to my original posting. What transpired shortly after my posting was the company rep informing me that it wasnt my P2 material they had issues with…it was XDCAM material from some other shooter.
To address some of the replies…the company I am shooting for wont pay for any extra time for dubbing or other nonsense. They pay for two hours of my time. Keep in mind this is for :30 or :60 second spots, so realistically these shoots take more like 4 hours, unless of course they want crap.
