Simon. I don’t understand how to use your “TKY Clone Effect Updated” effect. Can you explain how to use it? Totally couldn’t figure it out. I have a spec of dust on some footage and I want to remove it. I assumed this worked like the Photoshop clone tool where I can select the little spec of dust and then replace it with a pixel very close to the dust spec. The onscreen controls of the effect don’t make any sense to me.

Thank you for the advice. I had a couple people recommend purchasing KinoFlo Diva 400 specifically, but I have a feeling those will be out of the price range for the company and it sounds like they might be difficult to travel with due to the size.

Harry can you expand on your advice to purchase a 2 light CFL kit? You mentioned: ” You can get a 2 light (equal to 1000 watts per) kit for a few hundred dollars with stands & softbox ” … Can you possibly show me an example of this on a site like BHphotovideo.com ? I looked a little on the site, but honestly wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking for. You also mentioned LED knockoffs. I’d like to look into all of that more, but I could use a little further nudging in the right direction. Any specific brands/models I should consider?

    Thanks again.

  • What the heck? This makes no sense to me. Is this just a massive screwup by Adobe? Is there a way to download the missing transitions? Is there any logical reason why these would all be missing? Is there an alternative (plugin)? I really want to do some very simple motion graphics and really do NOT want to bother with After Effects to have some simple text appear in a nice way. There are some simple video transitions like “zoom in” that I could easily apply to text on the PC version of Premiere which would be alright… and for some reason theres only a handful of video transitions available on the MAC version. Very frustrating.
