May 4, 2015 at 11:36 am in reply to: Color Grading Critique Website – Searching For OneWell, i do not really see the need of a critique site.
Most of the time the outcome of a grading is in the hand of the producers, not the colorist.
He/She might be able to talk about it later, but it looks the way it looks because someone who paid for it wanted it that way.
And the need to change a sky is a product of poor choices and planning 😉
But of course a skilled comper is able to tackle that…I would just switch to Smoke/Nuke/Fusion for the task.
No wait, no Fusion…yetResolve 11.2 – Smoke 2015 EXT1SP2 – Sapphire 8

The next step in grading will be a level and saturation analyse plugin, probably by Boris effects, that will probe the image at several positions and then auto-level the whole group/sequence and after that applying a preset.
The editor will divide the movie in parts and just label then, the whole grading process is done by the plugin itself, including mood changesI am reading about carpentry…

Nope, I think it’s just fine 🙂
Personally , i think, R11 did not bring anything useful to the editing crowd…that might change now
And no one can help you with problems we can’t investigate.
But by the time you would have found a way to batch convert the files anyway , i hope.Resolve 11.2 – Smoke 2015 EXT1SP2 – Sapphire 8
