Well, I really love my Wacom and use it for everything, including editing, CAD and games.
The mouse is just on the table for guests and their internet needs.

Magic mouse has no middle click.
Another thoughtful Apple product, useless for the pro apps 😉

And dont trust FCP ever…ever ever ever ? EVER ! 😉
Does it change when you press play ?
Does it look different on your video monitoring ?
Load it back into Resolve and compare there too.
I bet its a FCP sequence setting.

  • I second that request..
And it would be great to save naming sequences into templates.
    Like “projectname”grading/Event####/”sourcefilename”.”sourcefilenumber”.dpx
Normally we have to render stuff a couple of times and it would make it easier to establish a pipeline and use scripts externally to handle and distribute the Resolve output.

Well, the thing is, you have two power cords and probably 2 slots free.
So you have to balance between money and performance.
The best possible solution is a Dual Quadro 4000 config.
    Thats 1500 bucks.
The benefit is, you also have a card for Adobes Mercury engine, games, Smoke, Cinema 4D, Scratch, Mocha Pro and all other apps depending on OpenGL and/or CUDA.
For a Resolve only station, you just need any Apple certified single slot card and add an old GTX 285 or a new Quadro 4000 or endofline Quadro 4800.
But your ATI Radeon HD 4870 is dual slot, right ?
So the Quadro 4000 is the ONLY option if you want to keep it.

Keep the Ati, get the rest, or wait for newer BM cards.
