  • Thanks so much Nick – I won’t get a chance to try this until later today but am really hoping this works. Its been hours of agony until now so I really appreciate your response.

    Cheers

  • Thanks Nick.

But I was just wondering if there is a way that I can make a multiclip from the timeline as I have such long sequences involving lots of different clips on different tracks that I have synced manually.

I understand how a multiclip can be done from the browser by marking each clip with with an input to sync to but because of the above problem of having such alot of clips that stop and start I needed to do it manually.

    Any help would be appreciated
    many thanks

Thanks for the advice. I have already edited 10 of the videos so is there is a sequence setting that would work with MPEG 2 so I could transfer these edits to the new sequence timeline. Or is there a way I can convert all the original footage while still keeping the edits. Many thanks Sarah

I understand the keyframe part but how do you change each keyframe to look the same as the final exposure – should I be using ‘frame viewer’ to compare the end result and the underexposed shots?? When I try and change one keyframe it changes the whole shot for that 10 seconds.
    Many thanks for your patience

HI, thanks for you reply – but how do I do this (sorry about the ignorance) Is it with motion control?

    Many thanks

Thanks so much – I think that may have solved it.

Yes, I am using firewire from a Sony Z1 camera and NO I don’t have any timecode breaks in tapes – it just seems to log each separate shot as a new file.

    Thanks
