Hi there:
I am having an identical problem in exporting to tape using Premiere Pro CS4 and a Sony HDR HC7 (later model camcorder than the HDR HC3 that you were using). I rented a Canon HV20 and was able to make one perfect tape. However, the two subsequent tapes had a couple of glitches each. Maybe I needed to clean the head of the Canon and/or defragment the hard drive after I made the perfect tape. Did you ever confirm that the Sony camcorder was really your problem? How did you eventually solve the problem?
Any feedback that you have will help me.
