    Hi Aaron-
Did you try to copy and paste the effect on each clip? That’s what I do with video effects.
    Hope that helps!

Hi Mike. Thanks for getting back to me! When I export the MPEG2 for DVD to author in Encore, it is taking anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour to export each. Am I doing something wrong?

I prefer Avid, however, Premeire Pro works just as well. In my opinion, I find that wrking with effects and audio in Avid is more user friendly in Avid than Premeire Pro. I use Premeire on a daily basis at work though. Hope that helps……

To fix this, click on the “Burn DVD” button on the DVD Layout Window. When the Burn DVD window opens, click on the “Settings” button on the bottom. The window that pops up is the Export Settings window. On the right hand side, you will see a pull down menu for “Presets”. Pull that down, and choose what preset you want. Once you choose one, press “OK”, and you will be taken back to the Burn DVD window….if you choose a setting that will work, that status will change to “Ready to Burn”.

I hope this helps. If not, we can work around it in Encore. Good Luck!
