    Hey,

I use Tricaster Pro as well, and don’t have a problem with the VCR playback. You may want to contact NewTek. I also was wondering the same thing about the video, because I would like to create animated lower thirds for production, instead of adding them in post.

    Hi!

I ended up contacting Red Giant Software, and here is what they said:

“The reason this is not working is because of your current graphic card. We do not support Integrated type cards.
These cards do not support all of the necessary aspects for the GPU rendering.
    2 Options:
    1. You can upgrade your current graphic card to a supported card.
See following chart for example of supported cards:
    https://www.redgiantsoftware.com/knoll-light-factory-features.html#gpu

    2. If you do not want to upgrade your graphic card, I can send you a key for Shine v1 (does not require adequate graphic card).
If you choose this option, please provide me with your serial number for Shine v1.5.”

I hope this helps. I’m actually still waiting for my updated graphics card. Keep me posted on if it works or not and I’ll do the same.

    Good Luck-

Ok, I was going to say that the problem doesn’t happen when I switch to a particular camera, just during movement. If I have any problems coming up I’ll post another topic.

    Thanks again!

That’s what it was! All 3 cameras had the OIS setting on. Thanks a lot! Explains why it was all 3 cameras and not just one!
    Have a great day!

Hi and thank-you for getting back to me!

I will go and look at the OIS to see if it is turned on or off. The “jump” looks like a wave ripple in from the bottom to top of the frame that is maybe 1 or 2 seconds in length. Once I actually put the video clip into Premiere Pro, at the spot of the jump, the video looks like is is having a band wipe effect placed on it.

The deck is set for DV-IN. The deck is a JVC SR-DVM70 (DV/HDD/DVD) in case that helps. In Premeire Pro, this is checked in the Playback Settings Window “Disable video output when Premiere Pro is in the background”. What is that for, and should it be checked?

    Hello Mike!

Well, the deck I am using has the same DV In/Out connection. Everything is hooked up fine, I have complete deck control from Premiere. Is there a setting inside my project settings that I am looking over?

    Thanks for replying!
