    Hi All!

Just curious how to make a shine effect on text similar to the shine effect that you can add to video text. Here is a link with an example:

    https://trapcode.com/products_shine.html

I have a client that wants to create the same effect on text for print as what I have created in video, and since I used a plug-in for After Effects, just curious how to create it in Photoshop.

    Thanks in advance!

Filter >> Blue >> Radial Blur change to zoom sue a large amoutn like 100 , may have to run twice.

The shine plug in has so many more options though that woudl taek many more steps in phothsop to create. I personally create print graphic in AE when I find AE has better tools (Shine is #1 on my list). Sometimes I do the inverse for video as in the case of outer glow or bevels.
