I am pretty new to downloading to youtube so I don’t know what you mean by being able to update tags, etc…

The only thing I am bale to see is the amount of viewers. It does not give me any other options.

I never said I had a problem. I want to learn from this and gain insight into how I can claim the next one as our own.

I’m assuming they had to purchase some kind of rights to show the Obama pics in their video. Is that right or wrong?

The only thing I have is Fremont St. during the day and night with the lights from the Fremont Experience and some hotel fronts like the Golden Nugget and I have some of Hoover Dam.

This may be a little too late but i just got a great light at http://www.litepanels.com it’s called the LitePanel Micro. It runs on 4 AA batteries and it’s LED. It comes with an orange filter to put on it cause it shines a bluish tint w/o it.

FYI – i tried to render certain clips at a time with no luck and i tried to copy and paste onto a new timeline with no luck

I’m sorry I should have been more specific.

I can see the timecode of the timeline in the upper right hand corner, I want to see the actual timecode of the clip so I can pick out soundbytes. I just found it in the button next to that window that says, “Show Timecode Overlays.”

Now my new question is how do I get the name of the clip off the clip in the timeline? It’s especially hard to see my audio clip’s waveform with the name always appearing when I cut it.

My first NLE ,so to speak, was the Casablanca by Draco then the old dinosaur The Panasonic Postbox, then the Media 100 844x and now FCP, but I was thinking about Smoke or Pirahna. 🙂

Anywho, thanks for all the responses that clears up a lot.

So if I’m correct, I can also sell the footage we have of the NASCAR “celebs” when they came to Long Pond, PA and we could also sell the video of when American Idol Alumn Constantine did an interview on our set and then sang Karoke (sp) in a local bar? (I tried to sell the Constantine stuff last year but got the old ,”I have to take care of myself and my people” stuff from him so I never persued it.

Found the problem – I changed the 1394 control from off (like it showed in the manual) to ext.

Guess I don’t have to wait for Tech support to call me back tomorrow either 🙂
