Sorry, I’m still trying to wrap my head around this. So, setting Deinterlace Method to “Interpolate fields” did what exactly? Me confused. lol

Hey Graham, I believe I FINALLY figured out the setting that was causing the problem. Here was the fix for me (for now at least):

If you are having blur issues, go to:

File –> Properties –> Set Deinterlace Method to “Interpolate fields”

So far, it is working. Any ideas WHY this setting works though?

By the way, it’s build 895 v9.0c if that helps.

Thanks for the help. I am using Sony Vegas Pro 9.

When I go to render the WMV file, I notice it says it has these render settings:

Audio: 96 Kbps, 44,100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, WMA
Video: 29.970 fps, 1920×1080 Progressive, 5 Mbps
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.000

You’ll see it says PROGRESSIVE but I do not know how to change it. It seems like I am unable to for some reason with the WMV file extension.

Also, for deinterlace methos, I have “Blend fields” set by the way.

Yes, it is the same result in windows media play: blurry motion blur. 🙁

I still can’t figure this one out. It seems like I’ve tried everything.

I checked this just now and I do not see any indication of motion blue in that video bus track so unfortunately I do not think that is the problem. 🙁
