well I am doing a green screen and the bottom right corner wont key out for me…..so I was thinking about making the green look more brown to match the background plate.

I just found a path for encoding your edits from FCP to play on your PSP’s. First you export from FCP as a MPEG4 file. In the advanced tab in the options for exporting a MPEG4 you need to change the top setting to none. There is a whole paragraph in this window saying that some machines wont be able to play the mpeg4 if that setting is on….So I turned it off and it works. Then yo uneed to use a free piece of software called PSP WARE. Then all you need to do is grag your MPEG4 into the program and it synchs it up to your PSP. I think it does extra encoding when it transferes it to the PSP because my 5 minute Mpeg4 file went from 111mb to 25 mb. Which is good because now I can fit mor but is bad becasue there is more compression. I am trying to tweek setting for better quality. If anyone needs a sample MPEG4 TO SEE MY COMPRESSION GIVE ME A YELL.

you can export a video from fcp to mpeg4 and put it in your movie folder in your psp….you do have to use there wierd naming scheme but I dont think you need any programs beside fcp..I am working on it now and im real close..the problem is that youll only end up with a 10 minute file on a 256 card

It seems as though everything to try to encode ends up playing super fast. It is very weird. The audio plays fine but my video plays at about 4 times normal speed

I will try and disable virus software next….My source file is a real HD file…an 8 bit 1080i quicktime mov file
