It is 48 khz 16 bit…normal dv audio when captured with the easy setup. It doesnt matter if I try and export it without compressing or not..it is just exporting any aiff. Is there another audio format I can export for dvd studio pro? I need a work around right now…but would like to figure out what the heck is going on…..my m2v compression should not be faster that the aif compression.

I have 2 23” and my video card died and one monitor died at the same time one monday when I walked inot the office. The assumed it was some sort of power issue even though I was hooked up to a UPS system. Not to be a jerk…but mine was under the apple care and they swapped it out within the week.

That happened to me once…it was my apple video card
Do you have any other monitor to try and see if it is your card? -

September 1, 2006 at 12:41 pm in reply to: Why do I have to render my AVI’s audio track? soo confusedWe offer 2 different types of products, and the one for the field needs PC for most of the programming. We do very basic editing int he field and use the same PC laptops for this use.
I hav eno clue about what codec it writes to when it captures to the Firestore. But I do know that the numbers and settings in my bin are the same for the clip and the sequence. I guess i will just render em out.

When i drop my stuff into a 10bit i get the nice pretty orange real time bar thing on my timeline. My play back is very stuutery and freezes like crazy….Do you think this is a ram issue or something? I think i only have 1.5 gb. I am just used to rendering overnight but I need to render about an hour and a half of cc filters and that is going to kick my butt.Ryan
