OS 10.13.3 (high sierra) and I have FCPX 10.3.4.

Maybe use your finder option to search for the name of your project, click the ‘show all in finder’ button and you will be able to see what files are where. Could be something simple like the project file has ended up somewhere else!

More than likely no help to you, but worth a go. I understand it can be frustrating and quite hard to follow steps on here as there tends to be a few words or terms that can be unfamiliar… I have the same problem sometimes.

I don’t have that option on my share section. How do I get that or do I have to create it?

Or are you meaning to use compressor? I don’t think I’ve got compressor anymore but I could probably get it off my old FCP7 pack.

Cheers Mark, I will try apple devices. Is that just an MP4 file? or is it a file that I would then convert?

Yea this is a good suggestion, but a couple of the files were absolutely huge. One of them was 80gb, would FCP/Vimeo compress it right down to a suitable size?

I actually ended up using we transfer but you have a limit of 2 GB.

The one session was 80gb and I managed to get it down to 8gb but couldn’t get it any lower. I uploaded it to dropbox for them and got round it that way.

Just use the browser arrows blow the canvas to navigate through each project.

I had this happen with my Mac, turned out that the RAM was faulty. Don’t rule out the possibility of hardware issues. Might be worth running a test on it?

Thanks for the response Dave.

Being on a bit of a tight deadline I just started trying everything, I’ve ended up highlighting everything within the composition and copying it. Then I’ve created a new composition, and pasted it in. This worked fine, and haven’t really lost any time with it!

When I’m up to date with this project I will look in to it again as I would like to be more fluent at it!

Yea it looks like it’s from when they played it to record it to DVD.

Can’t happen during conversion from vob to mp4?

I’ll have to get them to capture it again I guess.
