April 7, 2016 at 6:34 am in reply to: Video limiter not clamping chroma correctly workaroundHey AJ
Dealt with that issue by using the saturation curves tool in Lumetri on the offending clips to dial back the offending colour, which would be most often red, sometimes yellow and sometime pink. Mostly I only need to pull it back a very tiny bit for the artifacting to abate, and the loss of red in skintones etc is would be negligible. As it could take quite some time and a few eyeballs to catch all instances on a longer timeline, I’d add this correction to the adjustment layer if in a hurry.

Though this post is as old as Noah, it is one of few I found dealing with the issue so I thought I’d add to it after stumbling around for an answer for weeks. In Premiere Pro CC 2014, go to file/project settings/general – I’m my case change the renderer from mercury OpenCL to Mercury Cuda and voila, pic back in source window. Pretty sure you’d have the same result if changing to mercury software only.

I’m having a pretty similar problem with full Resolve 9.1.5. My setup is
Resolve 9.1.5
Mac Pro 3.1
OSX 10.8.4
14GB RAM
PCI (Slot 1) GTX 770 4GB with external power supply.
PCI (Slot 2) GT 640 4GB (GUI)
PCI (Slot 3) DeckLink HD Extreme 3D+
PCI (Slot 4) HighPoint 1144CM RAID HBAAccording to barefeats.com I should be getting up to 90fps setting playback speed to 200fps + playing back HD footage – I’m lucky to get 35fps at the moment.
https://www.barefeats.com/rogue04.html
The present setup runs slower than my GTX580 single card that I’ve just “upgraded”. Something doesn’t add up, and I’m not sure where I’m going wrong.

Create a null object and paste the Illustrator path onto it to create a AE mask. The alter the shape of the path, place a keyframe on the mask shape property where you want to the path to start changing. Go the the last position where you want the change to be complete. Reshape the mask here. AE will interpolate to mask shape between these two points to give you a smooth transition of the path. To make the object follow the path, copy this mask’s shape property into the position property of the object. AE will create keyframes of the position over time, that you can manipulate to speed up/slow down the object’s travel (select all position keyframes, hold down alt and drag the last one to drag them all out evenly).

October 15, 2012 at 12:47 pm in reply to: exporting XML from Final Cut Pro to Davinci Resolve LiteHey there!
I’d like to be able to cast light on your problem, but I am not able to import XML into Resolve 9 Lite at all – the option is greyed out. I assumed that with the full release XML import/export was not longer available. Though yours is coming in at the wrong frame rate, you are able to import XML – I’m stumped! Anyone have any ideas? Thisw is the first post relating to any kind of XML import issue with 9 that I could find…

Hi Rohit.
I removed all user accounts but for mine -admin – and the default admin account. Reinstalled and no more error message. Many thanks!
