Sorry I didn’t get back to you for so long. I was caught up with work.

I’ll do my best to answer your questions:

– This is a short film which I intend to enter into film festivals an eventually make available online, so I guess my final delivery is streaming?

– As regards frame rate, interlaced or progressive… this is a problem for me, I find it to be a really confusing subject, I need your judgment here.
First of all, I’m not sure how to confirm if my different footages are interlaced or progressive. Cause I’ve read everywhere that many times MC/FC/Premiere misinterpret this piece of media info.
Can you recommend and effective method to do this?

Nevertheless… I’ve checked with Premiere and it seems like this are my different footages frame rates:
29.970030i UFF (I would assume this is actually progressive, but Premiere states it’s interlaced UFF, this is an JVC GZ-E10BU video camera footage)
59.912976 progressive
50 progressive

I know I should match my project to be whatever my footage is (progressive or interlaced), but most of the footage is either 29.970030i UFF or 59.912976 progressive. Keeping in mind I’ll probably share this work in festivals and online… how do you recommend that I deal with the mixture of interlaced and progressive? Can you help me define this?
Should the project be HD 1080p/29.97p?

Hi Michael!

1) So, AMA-link and then transcode to DNxHD 115 at a minimum, working in one same project from scratch, right?

2) If i do this, AMA-link, transcode and then edit, I won’t need motion adapters, right?

3) Most of my footage is H.264 – MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) / QuickTime files / 1280X800 / 59.912976 progressive
MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a) / Stereo / 44100 Hz…. should the project be HD 1080p/29.97?

4) And how do you recommend that I deal with the mixture of interlaced and progressive?
