Thanks for the quick response Kristan. I think that I will also go with the 64 bit version. It is just a matter of time that most applications will be compatible and there are not many that I use either.

Thanks to all who responded. I think I will try Theo’s suggestion. If this works OK it would probably be a good time to upgrade to Vegas 9 Pro. If not the Hotcakes solution Pete suggested will probably be the way to go.

Thank you for the response. I am sure this is what I am looking for but when I try to load it into Vegas 7 I get an error message “an error occured while loading the project file. The file is an unsupported format”. I tried this with Vegas 6 also. Is this for a newer version of Vegas. Thanks again…Ron

I use Sony Vegas 7 and DVDA 4. The project is rendered video as Mpeg-2 and audio as AC-3 in Vegas. In DVDA 4 I insert the mpg file, go to Burn DVD, select the burner, choose the slowest burn speed , and hit finish and I get the video but no audio.

I burned a DVD with Architect but there was no sound, just video. I tried to create an image file selecting image writer during the burn process (in Architect) and the empty directory where I intended to send the iso files showed Audio and Video TS files instead of the iso files expected. I done a search looking for iso files and could not find them. I thank you for your feedback but for some mreason could not get either to work.

I do wedding videography on the side and occasionally put photomontages together. Quite often the pictures are old and I change aspect ratio and crop to get the white borders off. I give the photos a lot of movement but I try to vary that with each photo so it is not so monotonous (slow zoom in or out, panning across screen, twisting & turning). I think it looks so much better than them all having basically the same effect. It would be great if I had a script that would maintain aspect ratio, eliminate the white borders, remove red eye, take off the date code, and vary their movements throughout the list. This is probably too much for a single script but just changing aspect ratio and removing the white bars would be a big help especiallt when you are dealing with a few hundred pictures. Thanks Ron
