    Thanks.

That’s what I decided to do. I wanted to avoid it at first because it looked too confusing, but after playing with it a little, it’s not that bad.

That’s the route I’m going to take.

  • I’m using SVP 11, with the latest build.

Is that removed for all the latest versions?

    Thanks for all answers.

Another question: I’m going to be using the Kodak as a side camera during interviews. My main camera is my GH2.

With the GH2, I’m filming at 24fps. The Kodak is 30fps. Final project render will be 24fps.

So, when I pull all that footage in to start editing, can I still run that script just on the footage I bring in from the Kodak Playsport? What would be the best way to approach that?

    Thanks.

How do I implement the scripting? Do I need to copy that file somewhere so that Vegas can recognize it?

Yep. I had a nested project.

I read during the Fall “The Five C’s of Cinematography.” It was an excellent book!

I was just hoping for a book like the Apple Training Series I mentioned in my original post because it came with a couple of DVDs with video clip files on it and the book took you through tutorials with actual editing examples and the video clips on the DVDs followed along. That’s how I like to learn, so I was hoping for something similar out there. I’d rather do that than just “read” about it.

I checked out the Sony Bloggie. Not too bad!

My only question is when my SV projects are 24fps, and I bring in a clip that’s 30fps, how does that work in Vegas? Will the 30fps portion of the project degrade upon rendering?

    Actually, I got it.

I just Googled Windows special characters and found a site that shows how to access them with the Alt + .

It worked! All I needed was the “à” character in the font I’m using in my project!

    Thanks!

How do I access that? And can I have the special character in a particular font?

    I’ll do that.

    Thanks.
