I opened the same project on a different computer with the same software update but it didn’t have the bug…so weird…I might need to re-format my mac or something if that exists haha

That’s what I do. I Master to ProRes then Convert to H264 with .mov wrapper and AAC audio.

If you do it your way by just changing the extension, systems like PIX will detect it and won’t allow you to upload. (the prompt will say: unsupported file extension as if it was .mp4)

Shane,

It still supports H264 stand alone with .mp4 but you can’t compress with H264 using the .mov wrapper anymore.

So if you want to export QT with H264 codec like before you can’t anymore…
ProRes is unaffected so in this case I am exporting in ProRes then converting to .MOV QT with H264 compression.

I hear ya. But what would it cost them or what trouble is it for Adobe to leave the support a little longer…Seems a little closed minded. I wouldn’t imagine that it has any effect on any new features the software has…

Thanks. So weird that they would drop it for the “industry” when all the people requesting the .MOV H264 are high end studios, and also to upload on systems like PIX. I’ll keep using MPEG Stream I guess.

I think you might have just answered my Question.
I do not have a color managed display. I just have a regular Client monitor with my 2 screens.
So basically my export is correct but the way to checkit/view it is not possible bec I don’t have the right equipement. That’s what ur saying right?

Another Question, XYZ Color space will look off as well in that case right?
