Got a problem on a timeline. Need your expertise.

im not sure if its the rendering process that is the problem. but it when I insert a clip in a certain timeline, there seems to appear another clip of 29frames and then it goes back to show the clip i inserted. but when i remove the video clip and go over that specific timeline, i could not view the 29-frame clip. Its just blank.
And when i preview the clip i was planning to insert in a different time, i could view the entire clip without the 29-frame clip being played.
