The facelift is just starting and it will take months to finish all of the various channels and areas of the COW.
But we have many areas already designed and we’ll be getting the interfaces for them all finished between now and NAB 2012.

In actuality, the Facilis forum is made up of everything related to Facilis, all in one place. All things Facilis are aggregated into a single place where people can get all of the information related to Facilis and its products.
That’s why you see it there and in other places. It is actually one conversation happening in two places but they are the one and same conversation.

Hello Jared,
A “legacy version” of something is a version that is no longer supported, such as Mac OS 6/7/8/9, earlier versions of OSX, or Windows 95/NT/2000, etc.

Hi Rafael,
The way that I would describe its function is that if you want to give a link so that someone can read a specific person’s reply within a thread, you click on the dot in that person’s reply and it will load an HTML address in your browser’s address line. Copy and paste that address into your email that you send to your friend and it will fully open the entire thread but will open it with the specific person’s comments that you want them to take note of.

We have been fighting with the agency for weeks now, they insist nothing is wrong and I am going to talk with my connections at HP and show them the ad and what it does to people. I have told our ad sales director that we will no longer accept ads that are not pre-rendered.
I love HP but I hate that ad. Totally hate it. Screws with my machine every time it comes up.
And yes, the site’s new look will make its way into the forums shortly. Next up will be the new StockYard and then the Services Offered and Jobs Center get re-skinned. After those three areas comes the forums.

We are likely to have that live by year’s end from the look of things.
We have the Stockyard ready to roll out in public beta in the next couple of weeks, then we roll out the new video section which is absolutely killer, and then comes the redesign of the forums mechanism which should be happening during the December holiday slowdown period.

Abraham would tell you that it is a bit of simple math calculating the most active members but I will tell you it is actually a complex poly-threaded algorithm that follows user involvement, the brightness of their smile, their ability to know and pass on the secret COW handshake, are they lactose tolerant, and can they yodel and make funny cow sounds? Oh, and can they reverse the quantum flux? — almost forgot that one. It would never do to forgot to reverse the quantum flux. (Hey, it works on Star Trek®.)
Score high in all of those categories and you will find yourself at the top of the forums you are most active in.
