Oh, yes that’s exactly what I’m looking for! I don’t know if I’d be able to pay that price at the moment for these, but thank you for showing that to me! I will look into it.

That’s alright, thank you for all your help anyhow! I appreciate it a lot.

Oh, that’s weird. I don’t know why it did that. Here it is again from a different site:

I’ve tried the method you suggested, and it doesn’t seem to have the sort of “rolling” I’m trying to achieve. I’ve created a quick video to provide a sort of example of what I’m talking about!
The first part is what I tried back when I was using the TV Simulator to get my effect, and the second part is what you’ve suggested. It seems that the TV Simulator gets me the closest to my desired effect, but there’s still the issue with the direction it moves so I’m hoping that there is some kind of Transition to get me there instead. Some kind of effect/transition that is able to hold that “rolling” motion for whatever length.
As for the motion blur, I will try what you have suggested as well afterwards! ☺ You’re right, doing it all at once would most definitely drive me absolutely up the wall.

This is awesome, thank you! Will this create like a sort of “continuous rolling” effect? I’m on VEGAS 14, so it looks a little different for me (but I do get what’s going on in the photos), but I need it to “roll” over and over for about a second before slowing down. If not, is there possibly any way to do that using the transition progress/some other method?
Also, is there a way to motion blur the transition as well?
I can’t thank you enough for all this help, thank you so much!

Ah silly me! I regularly forget that there are Transitions to use rather than FX, thank you! Those would definitely work better, which transition would you recommend I use for this desired effect?

I tried that just now, but it seems to come out weird because of some keyframing I also have with it. It’s kind of confusing to tweak the keyframes when having to work backwards like this. ???? I’m trying to make it a slow start/stop from the roll but when flipping around the keyframes and putting it in reverse it doesn’t seem to come out the way I want it to?

[Dimitrios Papadimitriou] “You could create the text you want, then render the video import the video back into the project when you put it on the timeline right click on it and select reverse.”
Ah I’ve thought of that, but the media I am trying to do this effect on is a video clip and can’t be reversed as I need it to play the right way while still rolling in the opposite direction.

[Graham Bernard] “Hi Romano, here’s a daft idea, can you set to -1.0000, if you can, will that do it? Or is there a Direction Control?
“I’ve tried to do that, but sadly it seems it sets no lower than 0.0000. There doesn’t seem to be any option to change the direction either. ????
