Resolve does not support the DNG files (these files contain multi-resolution images in the same file). Only CinemaDNG files are supported by Resolve.
You can convert to DPX or TIFF or any of the other supported file formats.

How are you monitoring stereo? Two SDI outs, or just one.
Try turning on optimized video monitoring option and see if that helps.
Also, try your image scaling to bilinear.

The 15″ retina MacBook Pro works fine.
The MacBook Air and 13″ retina MacBook Pro don’t have a GPU capable of running Resolve.

Hi Barrie,
The auto-save (with backup) is designed to help you recover your un-saved work if you have a crash during your session. This is not a versioning tool, it just keeps one copy of the project. If you press save, the backup is cleared out as you have already saved the work.
When used without the backup mode, it is exactly the same as pressing the “Save” button manually every 10 minutes or whatever the frequency you set it to save as.

Are the audio files 48Khz broadcast wave files?

You should be able to just install over the previous install on both Mac and Linux. There is no need to uninstall the old version.
I think it’s also true for Windows, but I’m not 100% sure right now. The only side-effect I can think of is that it might leave multiple entries in the Add/Remove programs.

Hi,
You should add the tif file to media pool, and then drop it in timeline, change the speed to 0fps, and then you can stretch it out.
If you are not on 9.0.3, you will need to rename the file to add a number at the end (before the extension).

There is an option to generate TC from frame number.
Please check if that might be on.
