Yep, thanks Keith that was the conclusion I came to – which of course works but doesn’t allow for me updating things “live” without making a render but hey ho – a small price to pay for a good plugin.

Thanks Keith, well I’ve tried that – duplicated then gone to the tracker window and everything’s greyed out but there’s a “Motion Source” drop-down if I open it there’s a list of all my layers in the comp and they’re all greyed out (except a couple of pre-comps) but NOT my .psd layer that I’ve added the CC Sphere plugin to !

Thanks Matt … that’s the source of my confusion, I’ve been duplicating the material in order to ‘protect’ the original swatch, I’ll stop doing that and start to rename the dupe that Invig generates … my aim is to create one ‘material’ mess with it’s transparency, reflectivity etc (I’m attempting to make a glass-like material that will allow me to get some nice lighting effects through and reflected off the objects, is this possible)? and then dupe the material six times to be able to apply it to six objects and alter their individual colours, am I going about it the correct way ?

The email problem is odd Edward, I have a spam ‘filter’ but no blocking that I’m aware of and I have received plenty of emails from you … anyway if you need to I’ll send alternative addresses direct to you.

In case anyone else is watching this, Edward kindly suggested that my original download of 6 may have been corrupt, I re-downloaded and now all is well !

Thanks Bob, that’s excellent but I can get the outer circle to duplicate and then I’m struggling to get the inner circle to PERFECTLY centre itself within the outer, it seems to be only possible to do it ‘by eye’ – for this particular job it may be enough … good of you Roger
