Hi chaps, I have several comps nested in my main comp, one (in it’s original comp) has a 3d stroke added, another has a photoshop file animated in it … ie nothing odd, but in the master comp in wheich they are ‘nested’ the ‘Mode’ column and the ‘Preserve Transparency’ column both have a dash (hyphen) in them … why has this happened please ? (probably very simple but I’m struggling) – help please. Roger

    Hi there.

You probably have the Collapse Transformations switch checked. (that little sun next to the little guy on the switches tab.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers!

Thanks for that Adriano, I can’t believe I didn’t notice that … now I need to try and remember why I set that switch … I’m getting old !

    Good of you.

    Glad I could help.

I can’t remember how many times little things just sliped through my sight and I ended up puzzled for hours until I realized it was just the one switch or one little step I skiped.

AE has that kind of power over us I guess.

    Cheers!
