  • There isn’t such feature. You should ask for it in Adobe’s wishform page. BTW If you are seeing pixels when the CTI is in resting position then something is wrong. There was a bug with this so make sure you Ae is updated to the latest update of the release.

actually you could get rid of 90% of them if you roto the tree and the guy. I have managed to pull this off in 5 minutes

for the background plate I just use 2 separate images where the background is clean right in Ae. you should clean it in photoshop and bring it back flawless.

yes you lose the natural motion of the trees but’s that’s less important I imagine. also you could fake it with compositing natural moving leafs from where the chips aren’t moving yet.

with very rough masking around the tree and the guy. you will do it better using more accurate roto

if you want to get the rest of them, since they are moving really fast then temporal based brush roto can work. just use the stamp tool

May 6, 2017 at 10:17 am in reply to: Automated process in After Effects

[Harry Moylan] “Does anyone know of an automated solution, which would allow me to quickly replace the keywords on screen with the appropriate language text?”

how about creating a motion graphic template in Ae, link the source test to a property controller in the essential graphics panel. export the sucker to premiere and do it all there?? ☺ see how it works: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/how-to/create-motion-graphics.htmlyou would still have to replace line by line but it will be more comfortable in one control panel AND from Premiere.

    [Colin Wood] ” I don’t really have a budget”

just so you know, there’s still 25% off available (although it was due on Friday) so that means it’s about 50 bucks.

[Krista Trostle] “Is there an easier/more streamlined way to do this than just clone stamping each chip individually for each frame?

this actually probably won’t work. creating consistency will be very difficult if you clean it frame by frame. show us the shot.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback. You might want to examine why hardware acceleration is not working for you by trying to update the GPU or roll back and if this does not work submit a bug report.

April 27, 2017 at 4:11 pm in reply to: Layers get interved/reversed when add 3D layer

[Dave LaRonde] “This is absolutely normal behavior in AE; given 2 layers with equal z-value, the upper layer in the comp gets precedence. This is the situation the OP faces. It’s not brain surgery.”

the layer on top is the one you see, but this is NOT the situation Op faces. Op was facing something different: as soon as he clicked the 3D switch, the layers reversed their order and the layer at the top of the stack was the bottom in appearance and vise versa. he fixed it by trashing the preferences apparently: https://forums.adobe.com/message/9479841#9479841
