I bought this card thinking that I would be able to use the extended desktop and the HDlink PRO for color correcting more precisely on Color and now these great news come suddenly after an minor update, from an issue on a forum post! Man! With all respect: Are you saying that we’ve spent our money for nothing and that there is nothing to do about it? I really don’t believe in that! If it’s true, unfortunalety, this was the last product I’ve bought from Blackmagic.

maybe my two other questions were too generic. But now I’ve got a more precise one. I’ve tested two different monitors via the DVI-D connection (on full HD and the other not) and both were at 30Hz as maximum refresh rate while I was using the 1920×1080 res. I tryed to change the refresh rate on the monitor system preference and at the HDLINK Utiliy, but nothing worked. After, I put the 1280×720 resolution and finally got the 60Hz rate. So, How can I have the 60Hz on the 1080×1920 resolution?

Just two more questions:

How does the hdlink helps/works with the blackmagic’s hd Extreme 3 on monitoring? In other words: What would be the difference of using the HD xtreme 3 card with and without the HDLINK?

And, How is the best way to calibrate the monitor for an accurate indie color correction without third part softwares/hardwares?

Yes, I’ve reinstalled too.

An apple technician said that it could be something with the updates I downloaded in a PC, including a FCP 5.0.2 update, but I thing It’s strange, and he didn’t tell me what can I do about it beyond do the software update.

Do you know something about it???

PS: The I movie captures well, so it’s really a final cut problem.

In the afternoon, I had tried the DV NTSC in Easy Setup and changed the deck to a camera too

and none of both is dvcam…

The log and capture commands the tape, the timecode functions, but the image and sound doesn’t
appear. In the audio/video settings it doesn’t show the 720×480 option in video playback tab.

I just don’t understand what is happening, i never saw this thing before !!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
